But you can call me Zak — your partner in discovering the dancer you never knew you could be.
I've been a dancer since I was 4 years old. From the moment I took my first step, I knew dance wasn't just something I did — it was who I was meant to be.
My dance journey started at age four, when my parents put me in my first dance class. From that moment, I was hooked. I trained in everything — ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and modern dance. Each style added another layer to my understanding of movement, rhythm, and expression.
But it was ballroom dance that truly captured my soul. For over 15 years, I've immersed myself in the elegance of standard dances like Waltz and Foxtrot, the flowing beauty of smooth styles, the passionate energy of Latin, and the infectious rhythms of Rhythm dances.
I've competed professionally in smooth dance competitions, refined my craft at legendary studios including Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray, and pushed my limits in independent competitions across the country.

And so much more! Social dancing is where the real fun happens:
I grew up in Los Angeles, California — the entertainment capital. From there, I traveled to Texas and Florida, soaking up different dance cultures and styles across the country.
Now I call Arizona home — the Valley of the Sun. But my dance journey doesn't stop there. I travel frequently to teach students across different locations, bringing the magic of dance wherever I go.
Available as a Private Traveling Coach
Sure, I've competed professionally. I've felt the rush of the competition floor. But my real love? Social dancing. Being on the dance floor at a party, a wedding, a club — anywhere music is playing — and just feeling the connection.
That's what I teach my students. Not just how to perform choreography — but how to actually dance. How to walk onto any dance floor anywhere and own it.
I show every student they are capable. That they are worthy. That dance isn't about perfection — it's about the connection you create within yourself.
I've seen it happen over and over — someone walks through my door thinking they have "two left feet," and within weeks, they're confidently moving across the dance floor. That transformation? That's what drives me.
Everyone has dance in them. I help you find yours and build the skills to express it confidently.
Dance isn't just for "natural dancers." You deserve to feel confident and express yourself through movement.
Dance is about feeling — connecting with music, with a partner, and most importantly, with yourself.
When you learn to dance with confidence, it changes everything. The way you carry yourself. The way you walk into a room. The way you connect with others. Dance isn't just movement — it's transformation.
I don't just teach steps. I teach you how to believe in yourself — on and off the dance floor.
